ABOUT MARINA FIELD Ph.D

Marina launched North Star Workforce Solutions LLC to serve organizations that rely on knowledge workers – employees that use information to guide decisions.

She strives to help organizations improve their understanding of what employee behaviors lead to success. Marina specializes in identifying strategies to guide organizations through change, training aspirational employees to become the leaders their organizations need them to be, and facilitating meetings and strategic planning sessions so that organizations are in the best position possible to follow through on their goals.

CORPORATE EXPERIENCE

Prior to launching North Star Workforce Solutions, Marina worked for over 14 years in a series of corporate management and consulting positions at several professional service firms and Fortune 500 companies in the financial, pharmaceutical, and utility sectors.  She gained in-depth experience in an array of areas including:  learning and development, change management, talent assessments, team building, and project management.  Her primary focus was always on and continues to be on developing tools and resources that empower her clients to achieve their strategic goals.

ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE

Marina obtained her PhD in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia University where she currently holds an Adjunct Faculty position. She has presented multiple times at academic conferences and has also been published in an academic journal.
